Development of an integrated utility for the real-time calculation of the carbon and water footprint on the process data of an industrial company. The conceptual test company has been two companies in the fishing sector located in the Basque Country and Portugal. And they have been developed under the scheme proposed by the EFPF platform and its development ecosystem.

This solution is based on a previous development called Ifishcan that allows the evaluation and determination of the carbon footprint in the environment of canned fish companies. Based on the information of internationally accepted conversion factors and the ISO 16064: 2018 standard, the tool allows to know at each stage of the production processes the GHG emissions and associated water footprint.

SOLUTION APPLIED TO THE CLIENT

Development of a platform for capturing, managing and predicting energy prices in the nodal market in Mexico. This solution is based on a previous development called ProviewMeter that allows the capture and grouping of disaggregated consumption data from customers in the company. Based on the consumption information and expected prices at each node, the system is able to recommend the best wholesale energy purchasing strategies for the organization.

Configuration and implementation of a citizen collaboration platform in the municipality. This solution is based on a web and mobile native development that allows the fluid interaction between the citizen, the local government and the concessionary companies of the different intelligent services of the municipality (waste collection, lighting, street cleaning, etc.).

The implementation of this service favors the digitalization of the population center and surrounding areas to achieve greater responsiveness and use of public resources.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Lorquí is a Spanish municipality in the Region of Murcia, belonging to the region of the Vega Media del Segura. Its area is 15.0 km², it has a population of 7 141 inhabitants (INE 2019)1 and its average altitude is 89 m a.s.l.. Municipality with important industrial activity, in its municipal district there are several large industrial estates such as Base 2000, located on the A-30.

Development of a utility integrated in their platform for the optimization of public waste collection systems. Based on real data, automatic self-learning models have been generated for the generation of resources, distribution of collection points and generation and optimization of routes.

This solution is based on artificial intelligence techniques and specifically on the resolution of genetic algorithms and machine learning models.
