Waste Collection Simulator

Software tool for the design of routes for the urban waste collection service.
Supported by artificial intelligence algorithms, the system analyses the factors that influence when designing the best possible route in the waste collection service.
The integrated GIS systems indicate where to locate the collection points based on the characteristics of the urban map, allowing the implementation of the most efficient routes
from an economic and environmental point of view.
The optimization algorithm designs the route based on the following variables:
-Efficient driving.
-Time restrictions.
-Clauses of the service contract.
-Traffic incidents.
The analysis of a set of indicators based on regulatory and economic requirements facilitates the simulation of the provision of the service, in order to assess its economic and
operational cost when offering the collection service to new contracts.
